Here’s Kristi!

The flames of hope were fanned yet again today as we watched Isaac move forward in healing. Thank you God for being our ever present help in time of need! Kristi is submitting the update for Isaac tonight. While she is doing that I thought I’d take a moment to introduce her to you. I know I may have confused some when my postings referred to Kristi and Kris. You know my lovely wife, Kris, but you may not know Kristi. I know Isaac would be anxious to tell you about her, so I want to share his excitement in his stead. Isaac met Kristi Dormaier during the Youth with a Mission Disciple Training School in New Zealand. She is from Washington state. Kristi shares with Isaac the incredible passion for song writing, worship, and sharing God’s love and good news with anyone she meets. God shines brightly in and through her. They wrote the song FOR THE DAWN together in New Zealand. As Isaac would say, she is the angelic voice you hear singing the song with him. After much prayer and time seeking God’s will, God knitted their hearts together and set in them a hope and future for serving God together. Isaac introduced us to Kristi via Skype from New Zealand and spoke warmly about her upon his arrival home. He planned to move in a couple months to Washington to begin the next chapter of life and ministry with Kristi. God has given them a sincere, pure love for each other. As soon as Kristi heard of the accident, she flew here to Lubbock to be by Isaac’s side to cotinually intercede for him and cover him with the words of God. She is a beautiful young woman of God. Her family is sacrificing so much for her to be here. They only had one day with her following her return from New Zealand. We are so grateful for her presence here, she is very much a part of our family already. Please pray for her as she seeks God and loves Isaac through this most difficult trial. Please pray that God will heal Isaac and let them realize the Hope and Future He has set in their hearts. Lord make it so.
